Station Camp Site

This quiet, level site is just seven miles from Llangollen, and is adjacent to the restored Carrog Steam Railway Station and close to the beautiful River Dee. A short walk across the 15th century bridge is the Grouse Inn, serving food all day, and the village shop/Post Office.

Llangollen Steam Railway has a regular service from Carrog to Llangollen where there are many tourist attractions.

There are golf clubs at Chirk, Bala and Llangollen and there are some excellent walks in the area. Just an hour away are the historic cities of Chester or Shrewsbury, or the many seaside resorts of North Wales, including Harlech, Porthmadog, Barmouth, Rhyl and Llandudno.

Station Camp Site is on the main ferry route from the Continent to Ireland and offers a convenient and peaceful break in your journey. This year we will be accepting payment in Euros as well as Sterling.
