Llangollen International Eisteddfod - Royal Visits
1953 - The State visit of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh to the Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod on Friday 10th July, 1953 shortly after the Coronation.
1964 - A warm welcome awaited Her Royal Highness The Princess Margaret, Countess of Snowdon and the Earl of Snowdon on their visit to the Eisteddfod on Wednesday 8th July 1964.
1977 - On Thursday 7th July, in the year of the Queen's Silver Jubilee, Her Royal Highness The Princess Anne was the third Royal visitor to the Eisteddfod.
1985 - His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales and Her Royal Highness the Princess of Wales honoured the Eisteddfod with their presence at the evening concert on Tuesday, 9th July 1985.
1992 - Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II re-visited the Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod on Friday 10th July 1992 and graciously declared the new Royal International Pavilion officially open.
2006 - HRH Prince of Wales and HRH Duchess of Cornwall visited on Wednesday of Eisteddfod week, HRH Prince of Wales is our patron and he was the Day President for the Wednesday.
