Powys Country House, a beautifully refurbished country house, set in 3 acres. Situated just off the A5, between Corwen & Llangollen. Making it ideally situated for visiting all the attractions in Snowdonia & N.E.Wales.

Llangollen, with its steam trains, canal boats, river side walks, many restaurants and quaint little shops, is only an 8 mile drive, with stunning views all the way. Betws-y-Coed 20 miles, Bala Lake 10 miles. You can drive into the heart of Snowdonia in 45 mins.

Locally we have many attractions, Chirk Castle, Erddig Hall, Thomas Telfords Pontcysyllte Aqueduct. Lakes, mountains, water falls, fishing, cycling, canoeing, walking. we have it all on our doorstep.

Powys Country House is set in an area of exceptional beauty.

If you just want to relax, you can enjoy our gardens, with lovely views of the Berwyn Mountains. We also have access to the River Dee.

There are many seating areas, a lawned tennis court, an outdoor giant chess board, croquet.

We also have 3, self catering cottages within the court yard of Powys House, making it an ideal venue for large groups e.g., cyclists, motor bikers, canoeists, rally drivers, ramblers We have ample off road parking, and can accommodate up to 24 in the main house & cottages. ( no stag or hen parties )

Terry & Toni Edwards offer an excellent standard of accommodation, in the Bed & Breakfast, and the self catering cottages.
