Ty
Carrog Holiday Cottages are convenient for Llangollen, Bala, Chester,
Ruthin and the Snowdonia National Park.
`Ty Carrog' can be found 3 miles from Corwen, between Llangollen and
Betws-y-Coed, in a quiet valley, with beautiful views over the
surrounding countryside. There is farmland adjacent to the cottage and
three other holiday cottages nearby, but not too close. The cottages
were converted from a collection of 18th century stone outbuildings in
an old and historic farm setting. There is an empty Tithe barn attached
to the cottage, and a stream runs through fields nearby.
Cottage facilities
The holiday cottage is
stone built on one level, and has been re-decorated and re-fitted for
this season in traditional country style. It has the benefit of its own
garden, stone-flagged patio area and a picnic table for the use of
guests. There is ample parking adjacent to the cottage within its own
grounds.
The living room has an attractive beamed ceiling and is equipped with
full size colour television, DVD player, stove-effect fire and
fireplace, comfortable lounge furniture and picture windows. The kitchen
area is newly replaced with a fitted oven, hob, microwave oven and
fridge. It is equipped with all the usual utensils, pots and pans etc.
The accommodation is perfect for a couple or a family of four, with
sleeping accommodation provided in two bedrooms (one with a luxurious
kingsize bed and a twin with single beds).
The bedrooms are well furnished in pine and quality bed linen and towels
are provided for your stay. Should you need it, there is heating in
every room.
The tariff is inclusive of linen and towels with electricity by coin
meter. We regret we cannot allow pets as there is a working farm nearby.
The cottage is no smoking inside.
